Which platform do you want to create a pass for?
Frequently Asked Questions
How long are the pass packages valid?
Your passes never expire. You can use them anytime, whether in a week or in a year.
Why a package instead of a subscription?
With a subscription, you pay regularly even when you don't need the service. With our packages, you pay once and use them whenever you want — no registration, no time pressure, and no hidden costs.
Can I share the pass or use it on multiple devices?
Yes! Apple Wallet passes (.pkpass file) can be shared and added to multiple iPhones or Apple Watches. Google Wallet passes are added via a link and can also be used on multiple Android devices. Perfect for family or friends.
What happens if I lose my package code?
Unfortunately, the package code cannot be recovered. Please save it securely — for example in your password manager or as a screenshot.
Which devices support the passes?
Apple Wallet passes work on all iPhones with iOS 6 or later and on Apple Watch. Google Wallet passes work on Android devices with Google Pay.
Are my images or PDFs uploaded to external servers?
Barcode recognition runs entirely in your browser — nothing is sent to external servers. Only when you create a pass are the necessary data sent to our server. For Google Wallet passes with an image, the image is stored on our server for up to 7 days because Google retrieves it via URL. It is then automatically deleted.
Why is a single pass more expensive than in a package?
With small amounts like €0.99, payment provider transaction fees take a significant cut — after fees and taxes, very little remains. With a package, you save considerably per pass, and we can offer the service sustainably. A win-win for everyone!
Why are some Apple Wallet passes stacked on top of each other?
Apple Wallet automatically groups passes by category. For example, if you create multiple loyalty cards or coupons, Apple stacks them together — similar to a fan of cards. This is normal Apple Wallet behavior and affects passes of the same type. Boarding passes and event tickets are always shown individually. Google Wallet is not affected by this.
Does the barcode actually work at checkout?
Yes — OtterWallet copies the barcode 1:1 from your original. The format (EAN-13, Code 128, etc.) is automatically detected and reproduced exactly.
Can I store multiple loyalty cards?
Yes, you can create as many cards as you like. With a 10-pack, each card costs only €0.20.
What happens when I switch my smartphone?
Apple Wallet passes are synced via iCloud. Google Wallet passes are linked to your Google account and automatically appear on your new device.
Change code format?
An incorrect format may cause the code on the pass to be unreadable.
